
German Chancellor Angela Merkel met with the President and Prime Minister of Turkey on Sunday to introduce the plan drafted by the European Union who will come to help Turkey and flow of refugees to Europe.
But not only because the meeting was proposed three issues. First, the provision of 3 billion euros to cope Turkey spending costs for refugees; Secondly, the EU visa-free travel for Turkish citizens; and thirdly, resuming been suspended for Turkish membership of the Union.
The country expects some 2.5 million refugees, mostly from Syria. While Merkel's visit to Turkey serves as a moment to discuss with the leaders to fight against terrorism in Syria and respect for human rights in Turkey.
This is due to the commitment of Turkey to the Syrian conflict, as well as allowing its bases to missions MERKANT forces and the international coalition in the fight against ISIS.
